About this fabric

Woven in 100% wool, Hutton Plaid Salmon has a medium-scale check with an approximate vertical repeat of 30cm and horizontal repeat of 27cm, set across a width of about 146cm. The visible palette blends salmon pink, sandy beige, olive-tinged green and тонal brown lines, creating a gentle countryside mood rather than a high-contrast tartan. The weave reads dry, tactile and quietly substantial, which suits the collection’s traditional wool character. With no additional performance features noted, it feels best chosen for schemes where natural texture and warmth are the priority. The checked pattern has enough presence to anchor a room, but the softened colouring keeps it calm and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, loose cover or window seat where the warm salmon ground can lift darker timbers and worn leather. It also works well with muted green paintwork and oatmeal linens for a layered, country-house feel.
