Fen Plaid Beige

Fen Wools FabricF4636-01

Fen Plaid Beige is a softly tailored check in warm beige, lifted by fine darker lines and pale crossbars that keep the pattern crisp. The overall effect is calm and understated, with just enough contrast to read clearly on the cloth.

About this fabric

Woven in a wool-rich blend of 40% Wool, 20% Cotton, 18% Viscose, 16% Linen and 6% Polyester, this fabric has a dry, approachable handle that suits both fitted seating and considered window treatments. The plaid is set on a muted beige ground, with narrow taupe-brown grid lines and light ivory bands that give the surface a quiet, balanced rhythm. The approximate 15cm vertical and horizontal repeat creates a medium-scale check that feels orderly rather than bold. At 138cm wide, it offers practical coverage for upholstery projects and drapery alike, while the BM fire rating adds reassurance for residential use.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, bench or relaxed curtain where the warm beige base can soften darker timber and painted finishes. It pairs especially well with chalky whites, oak, aged brass and other natural textures.

A restrained beige plaid that works neatly across classic upholstery and tailored drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
