Berkeley Sesame

Caversham Collection FabricBERKELEY

Berkeley Sesame shows a delicate trailing botanical in soft sesame beige, with the pattern sitting just a shade lighter than the ground for a calm, tonal look. The small-scale leaf motifs give the cloth a light, airy rhythm that feels refined rather than busy.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Caversham Collection, this fabric is 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, making it a practical choice for decorative window dressing. The design has a fine floral-botanical repeat with slender branching stems and tiny leaf forms, echoed across a 48.4 cm vertical repeat and 24 cm horizontal repeat. At 137 cm wide and 225 gsm, it reads as a substantial curtain fabric rather than an upholstery cloth. The sesame ground is warm and muted, while the motif appears in a pale ivory-beige that catches the light softly and keeps the overall effect understated.

How to use it

Use Berkeley Sesame on full-length curtains where its quiet beige ground can soften daylight without dominating the room. It works especially well with natural timbers, pale paintwork, and layered linens for a calm, tailored scheme.

A quietly elegant botanical for tailored curtains and blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Berkeley Sesame without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
