Berkeley Dove

Caversham Collection FabricBERKELEY

Berkeley Dove shows a softly layered botanical trail in pale leaf motifs over a calm dove-grey ground. The repeated arching branches give the design a graceful, formal rhythm that reads quietly refined.

About this fabric

Part of the Caversham Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is 100% polyester and designed for drapes only. The pattern repeats at 48.4cm vertically and 24cm horizontally, with a 137cm width and a substantial 308g per linear metre, so the cloth has enough body to hang neatly while still feeling suitable for window use. Visually, the ground is a cool, misty grey and the small leaf forms sit just a shade lighter, creating gentle contrast rather than sharp definition. The overall effect is understated and balanced, with the botanical repeat appearing crisp but never high-contrast. Made in India, it is a practical decorative fabric with a polished, tailored finish.

How to use it

Use Berkeley Dove in rooms that need a restrained, light-reflective curtain with pattern interest, especially alongside stone, white or pale timber finishes. Its cool grey palette works particularly well in smart sitting rooms and bedrooms where a calm, tonal look is preferred.

A muted dove-grey ground keeps the botanical trail fresh and elegant for tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Berkeley Dove without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
