Chailey Shadow
Caversham Collection FabricCHAILEY
Chailey Shadow presents a neat all-over fan motif in a cool, shadowed grey that reads quietly tailored rather than bold. The small-scale pattern gives the cloth a refined, evenly textured look across the surface.

About this fabric
Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Chailey Shadow has the crisp, controlled finish that suits a smart window treatment. The design shows a repeated scalloped fan or petal motif in layered greys, with the lighter pattern sitting softly against a deeper grey ground. Its small scale and close repeat, 7.5cm vertically and 6cm horizontally, create a settled rhythm that feels orderly without becoming busy. At 140cm wide and 315gsm, it has enough substance for a substantial curtain or blind-style application while still keeping the pattern definition clear. The overall effect is cool, muted and understated, with the shadow tone lending the fabric a calm, contemporary depth.
How to use it
Use this grey colourway for tailored curtains in a bedroom, study or sitting room where you want pattern without visual noise. It works especially well with pale oak, brushed nickel and deeper charcoal accents.
A quiet grey that layers easily with pale woods, chalky neutrals and deeper accent tones.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chailey Shadow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
