Chailey Thistle

Caversham Collection FabricCHAILEY

Chailey Thistle in smoky silver grey has a neat, fan-like geometric motif that reads crisp and quietly decorative across the surface. The cool grey ground and slightly lighter pattern give it a composed, tailored look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm, making it practical for curtain-making and blind projects. The repeat is a small-scale 7.5cm vertical by 6cm horizontal, which helps the pattern feel orderly and fine rather than bold. Visually, the colourway sits in a muted smoky silver grey, with the motif picking out a softer, paler grey that catches the light without looking shiny. At 225gsm and 315g per linear metre, it has enough substance for a neat hang while still reading as a drapery cloth. Made in India, it is a smart, understated option for rooms that need pattern without strong contrast.

How to use it

This grey colourway works well in scheme with pale oak, charcoal upholstery and brushed metal finishes, where its cool tone can sharpen the room without dominating it. Use it for full-length curtains or Roman blinds to echo the small-scale rhythm in a calm, tailored interior.

Use for tailored curtains or Roman blinds to bring a refined metallic-grey texture into the room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chailey Thistle without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
