Cherington Fog

Caversham Collection FabricCHERINGTON

Cherington Fog shows a softly faded botanical trail in a cool fog-grey ground. The scrolling floral motif reads crisp but understated, giving the design a calm, tailored presence.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Cherington Fog has a practical handle suited to window treatments rather than upholstery. The fabric measures 145cm wide and features a 32cm vertical repeat with a 35.5cm horizontal repeat, which helps the clustered floral trees fall into a regular, decorative rhythm. Visually, the grey ground feels quiet and cool, while the darker botanical motif adds gentle contrast without looking harsh. At 250gsm, it has enough substance to hang neatly and hold the pattern clearly across curtains or blinds. The overall effect is refined and restful, with a slightly rustic floral character softened by the misty colourway.

How to use it

Use this fog-grey colourway where you want pattern without strong contrast, such as in a drawing room, study, or bedroom. It pairs especially well with pale oak, chalky paint colours, and deeper charcoal accents.

A muted grey botanical that feels calm and tailored in soft, layered schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Cherington Fog without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
