Hastings Haze

Belvoir Collection FabricHASTINGS

Hastings Haze has a cool, misted grey-lilac ground with a softly faded scenic motif. Deer, trees and fine foliage appear in layered horizontal bands, giving the fabric a calm, atmospheric rhythm.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a pale lavender-grey with chalky white detailing, so the design feels subdued rather than high contrast. The printed landscape of trees and deer sits on a cloth that is specified as 51% cotton and 49% polyester, with a 140cm width and 302gsm weight, making it substantial enough for elegant drapes. Its 73.5cm vertical repeat and 70cm horizontal repeat create a generous, scenic scale that suits full-length curtains and statement window treatments. As a drapes-only fabric from India, Hastings Haze is best used where the broad repeat can be shown off and the muted tone can soften a room.

How to use it

Use Hastings Haze in a bedroom, sitting room or study where its misty grey-lilac shade can bring quiet depth without darkening the space. It works especially well with pale oak, brushed nickel and other cool neutrals.

Pairs beautifully with pale timber and quietly tailored schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hastings Haze without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
