About this fabric

This colourway combines muted saffron red, soft taupe-grey and chalky cream lines in a small-to-medium check that reads crisp but not bright. The woven texture softens the pattern and gives the surface a gently rustic, cloth-like character. It is made from 100% polyester and specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a Martindale rub test result of 40,000 for demanding interiors. At 139cm wide and 420gsm, it has a substantial handle that suits structured furnishings as well as statement curtains. The 17cm by 17.5cm repeat keeps the check regular and balanced across larger pieces.

How to use it

Use Cove Saffron on a sofa, banquette or occasional chair where the warm red check can add depth without feeling overly formal. It also suits curtains in rooms with oak, stone or painted woodwork, where the pale cross-lines help lift the darker ground.

A warm checked cloth that works well for tailored seating or relaxed drapes.
