Hastings Ochre

Belvoir Collection FabricHASTINGS

Hastings Ochre pairs a soft ochre ground with pale wildlife silhouettes and sketchy tree lines for a calm, pastoral look. The layered horizontal bands read gently textural rather than bold, keeping the scene airy.

About this fabric

Woven in 51% cotton and 49% polyester, this fabric is specified for drapes only and has a width of 140cm, with a vertical pattern repeat of 73.5cm and a horizontal repeat of 70cm. The design shows deer, trees and open woodland forms in an ivory-to-sand palette over a muted ochre background, creating a soft contrast that feels warm rather than sharp. Its 216gsm weight gives it a substantial curtain handle without looking heavy, and the country-inspired motif sits comfortably within the Animal, Conversational and Florals/Botanicals style notes. The ochre tone is mellow and sun-baked, so the pattern reads as decorative but easygoing.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed curtains, café-style window dressings or full-length drapes where the ochre ground can glow in daylight. It works especially well with natural woods, chalky paint colours and quiet neutral upholstery nearby.

A warm ochre ground with ivory wildlife motifs gives curtains a gently country-house feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
