Albany Citron

Albany and Moray FabricCCF0234-05

Albany Citron is a softly luminous yellow-green textile with a fine, irregular crosshatch weave visible across the swatch. Its citron tone sits between fresh yellow and muted olive, giving the plain surface gentle depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric

The closely woven surface combines fine horizontal and vertical yarns to create a subtle linen-like texture, with lighter threads catching across the citron ground. At 517gsm, Albany Citron has a substantial handle that is well suited to upholstery. The fabric has a 139cm usable width and no vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, making the plain weave straightforward to position. Its warm yellow-green shade reads softly muted in the image, with enough brightness to enliven a room without becoming a vivid acid yellow.

How to use it

Use Albany Citron on a reading chair, dining seat or tailored sofa where its warm yellow-green tone can bring light to deeper olive, natural timber and warm neutral schemes. The quiet crosshatch texture also works well with plain linens and understated woven cushions.

A substantial, softly textured citron weave that brings a warm yellow-green lift to upholstered seating and occasional pieces.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
