Loire Sunflower is a warm, glowing plain with a subtly textured linen-look surface and a cheerful sunflower-gold colour. The cloth has an easy, softly woven feel that reads bright without looking glossy.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 70% cotton and 30% linen, Loire Sunflower combines a natural handle with the practicality of a 18,000 rub test and a generous 142cm width. The swatch shows a fine, open weave that gives the surface a lightly striated texture rather than a flat block of colour. Its tone is a rich sunflower gold with a honeyed warmth, sitting between mustard and ochre and catching the light with a gentle matte softness. At 483 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance for light domestic upholstery while still working well for drapes and blinds. The plain styling makes the colour the focus, giving the fabric a clean, versatile finish.

How to use it

Use this golden shade to warm up neutral upholstery, or pair it with natural woods and oatmeal linens for a bright, grounded scheme. It also makes a lively blind or curtain fabric where you want colour depth without a pattern.

A bright, cheerful gold that lifts both upholstery and window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
