About this fabric

Brodsworth Ochre from Fryett's Fabrics is a fabric woven in 73% polyester and 27% cotton, with a 145cm width and a pattern repeat of 41.7cm vertical x 35cm horizontal. In this colourway, the leaf-like stripe reads as a warm ochre gold, lifted with mellow yellow highlights and outlined in soft taupe and grey-brown. The ground has a calm beige cast, which keeps the design feeling grounded rather than overly bright. Its visible texture and medium-bodied handle make it a versatile choice for both upholstery and drapery, depending on the finish and project.

How to use it

Use Brodsworth Ochre on a feature chair, bench seat, or curtains where its tall vertical motif can add rhythm and warmth. It pairs well with natural woods, brushed brass, and plain linens in stone, taupe, or muted olive.

A warm ochre ground with painterly leaf stripes that adds character without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
