Reece Ochre

Reece FabricJ0268-31

Reece Ochre is a softly glowing plain weave in a warm ochre gold tone. The surface shows the natural texture of cotton and linen, with a gentle, matte sheen that keeps the colour feeling rich rather than brash.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a mellow mustard-ochre, lifted by a subtle golden warmth and softened by the visible linen slub in the weave. It is a plain fabric with no repeat, so the interest comes from the texture rather than a pattern. The 70% cotton and 30% linen composition gives it a relaxed, tactile handle, while the 142cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of furnishings. With no performance features noted, it feels best suited to considered interior use where its colour and natural cloth character can be appreciated.

How to use it

Use Reece Ochre to add warmth against chalky whites, tobacco leather, or dark timber, where its golden tone will stand out beautifully. It also works well in layered, sunlit schemes that need a colour with depth but not heaviness.

A warm ochre that brings an easy glow to upholstery or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
