About this fabric

This Shelley fabric has a tactile, basket-like weave that reads clearly in the swatch, with tiny flecks of lighter yarn that soften the overall gold tone. The composition combines 31% Linen, 18% Wool, 16% Polyester, 13% Viscose, 13% Cotton and 9% Polyamide, giving the cloth a natural-looking handle with added structure. At approximately 140cm wide, and with a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it presents as an easy, non-directional textile for schemes that want colour without a strong pattern. The warm yellow-gold shade feels lighter and airier than brass, with enough depth in the weave to stop it looking flat.

How to use it

Use Rosmar Gold on an accent chair, banquette or cushions where its warm sheen can brighten oak, walnut and painted timber. It also works well at the window when you want a sunny, mellow tone that still feels tailored.

A warm, textural gold that lifts both upholstery and curtains with quiet brightness.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
