About this fabric

Rosmar Grey from the Shelley collection by Jane Churchill is a 140cm approx wide fabric with no repeat, giving it a clean, versatile look in use. The blend of 31% linen, 18% wool, 16% polyester, 13% viscose, 13% cotton and 9% polyamide gives the cloth a natural slubbed character with enough body for everyday furnishing. In this colourway the grey reads pale and chalky rather than dark, with small irregular flecks that lift the surface and stop it looking flat. The overall effect is calm and tailored, with a slightly dry handle suggested by the visible weave and the linen-rich composition.

How to use it

Its cool, light grey tone sits well with painted timber, pale stone and deeper charcoal accents. Use it for relaxed upholstery or soft drapery where you want texture more than pattern.
