About this fabric
This Shelley fabric by Jane Churchill is a 140cm-wide textile with a vertical and horizontal repeat of 0cm approx, giving it the feel of a steady plain rather than a repeating motif. Its 31% linen and 18% wool content is visible in the dry, lightly slubbed weave, while the blend of polyester, viscose, cotton and polyamide adds a subtly mixed, tactile surface. Rosmar Blue reads as a pale blue-grey with cooler silver notes, and the mottled yarns soften the colour so it feels fresh but understated. The cloth has enough substance to suit both upholstery and drapery, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code with √CH fire compliance makes it a practical decorative choice.
How to use it
