Berkeley Wedgewood shows a soft Wedgewood blue ground with a delicate trailing botanical pattern in pale ivory and taupe. The overall effect is airy and refined, with the motif sitting clearly against the cool-toned background.

About this fabric

Part of the Caversham Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is 100% polyester and designed for drapes only. The 137cm width and 48.4cm vertical repeat support the large, scrolling repeat seen across the swatch, where slender branches arc into a repeated lattice of small leaf shapes. Its 225gsm weight gives the cloth enough body to hang neatly while still reading as a decorative curtain fabric rather than an upholstery cloth. The colourway combines a dusty blue ground with softly contrasting pale leaves, creating a fresh but understated finish. Made in India, it has a crisp, tailored look that suits polished window treatments.

How to use it

Use this muted blue in a room that needs pattern without heaviness; it works especially well at tall windows where the repeating botanical arcs can be fully appreciated. Pair it with pale oak, warm white, or brushed nickel to keep the palette light and composed.

A calm blue botanical for elegant curtains and soft layered rooms.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Berkeley Wedgewood without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
