Chailey Oyster

Caversham Collection FabricCHAILEY

Chailey Oyster is a softly luminous neutral with a delicate fan-like small-scale motif across a pale oyster ground. The overall effect is calm and airy, with just enough pattern to give the surface quiet depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and designed for drapes only, Chailey Oyster has a refined, lightweight visual handle that reads neatly and elegantly at the window. The small-scale pattern repeats at 7.5cm vertically and 6cm horizontally, creating a regular, decorative rhythm that feels understated rather than busy. Its soft oyster cream tone is warm-leaning and light reflective, so the motif sits gently against the background instead of high-contrasting. At 140cm wide and 225gsm, it offers a substantial enough cloth for tailored curtains while keeping the overall look fresh and composed.

How to use it

Use Chailey Oyster in rooms that need a lifted, polished neutral; it pairs particularly well with painted woodwork, pale timber and stone finishes. The subtle cream-on-cream effect works beautifully when you want pattern that quietens a scheme rather than dominating it.

A pale, refined neutral that adds pattern without overpowering the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
