Caversham Collection FabricCHAILEY

Chailey Silver has a crisp, light-catching silver-grey ground with a small repeating fan motif that gives the surface quiet movement. The overall effect is neat and tailored rather than bold.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, Chailey Silver suits a polished window treatment where the fabric can fall cleanly and show off its compact pattern. The design repeats at 7.5cm vertically and 6cm horizontally, creating a tight, orderly rhythm that feels refined at close range. In this colourway, the pale silver and grey tones stay cool and understated, with just enough contrast to let the fan-like motif register without looking busy. At 140cm wide and 315 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance for structured curtains while still reading as a fabric with a graceful, controlled drape.

How to use it

Use Chailey Silver for lined curtains, Roman blinds or tailored valances in rooms that need a calm, smart finish. Its cool silver tone pairs well with white paint, pale oak and other muted greys.

A cool silver-grey that reads refined and airy, ideal for elegant window dressing.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chailey Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
