Berkeley Silver

Caversham Collection FabricBERKELEY

Berkeley Silver shows a cool silver-grey ground with a softly trailing botanical pattern in pale, toning thread. The finish feels light and airy, with the motif sitting neatly against the matte base.

About this fabric

Part of the Caversham Collection by Ashley Wilde, Berkeley Silver is a 100% polyester fabric designed for drapes only. It has a width of 137cm and a 48.4cm vertical repeat with a 24cm horizontal repeat, giving the branching floral design a measured, regular rhythm across the cloth. The visible colourway is a restrained silver grey, lifted by the slightly lighter leaf detail so the pattern reads crisp rather than high contrast. At 308gsm and 225gsm, it has enough body to hang well while still looking refined and decorative. The overall effect is cool, calm and tailored, with a smooth surface that catches the light gently.

How to use it

Use Berkeley Silver for floor-length curtains, Roman blinds or formal dressing in rooms that need a quiet, polished grey. Its cool tone pairs well with white paintwork, glass, mirror finishes and deeper navy or charcoal accents.

A refined silver-grey that lifts beautifully in daylight and suits elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
