About this fabric

The 486 gsm cloth has a substantial appearance, making it well suited to upholstery rather than reading as a lightweight curtain fabric. Fine vertical ridges run across the surface, while small irregular flecks add restrained tactile detail to the otherwise quiet plain. At 85 threads per centimetre, the weave appears dense and finely constructed. With a 140 cm usable width and zero vertical or horizontal pattern repeat, it offers a clean, uninterrupted surface for covering.

How to use it

Pair this cool silver-grey with chalk white, pale stone and soft blue-grey furnishings for a calm, light-reflective scheme. Its low-contrast texture works particularly well on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where the raised details can be seen at close range.

Use this cool silver-grey upholstery on seating where its fine ribbed texture and softly raised flecks can add quiet depth without introducing a strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
