Porter & Stone

Mystique Silver

Other Fabrics & Weaves Fabric

Mystique Silver pairs a cool silver-grey ground with a softly distressed geometric pattern that feels crisp and contemporary. The subtle lurex thread gives the surface a gentle metallic lift without losing its woven, textural character.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is woven in a 93% polyester and 7% lurex composition, giving the design its faint shimmer and structured handle. At 140cm wide, it offers a practical width for both upholstery and drapery projects. The pattern repeat is 35.5cm vertically and 12cm horizontally, and the repeating angular motif reads as layered diamonds and triangles across the cloth. In this colourway, the pale silver shapes sit against a deeper grey ground, creating a cool, slightly weathered contrast that feels smart rather than glossy. The textured, brushed-looking finish softens the geometry and keeps the overall effect modern and usable.

How to use it

Use Mystique Silver to bring a tailored, architectural note to cushions, occasional chairs or curtains in a contemporary scheme. Its cool grey and silver contrast works especially well with black accents, smoked glass and pale oak.

Use with crisp linens, charcoal paint and polished metal for a clean, modern finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
