About this fabric

The design is formed from irregular vertical bands, fine linear striations and broken horizontal flecks that give the surface a gently weathered appearance. Its cool silver tone reads clean and understated, while the layered grey marks prevent it from feeling flat or stark. At 250 gsm and 139 cm wide, it has the versatility of a mid-weight fabric for both upholstery and drapery. The pattern repeats every 27.5 cm vertically and 23.2 cm horizontally, so the softly fragmented banding can be planned across a wider run.

How to use it

Pair Contour Silver with chalk white, pale grey and brushed metal for a calm contemporary scheme, or use it to soften darker charcoal furniture. Its cool, light-reflective tone is particularly effective on relaxed curtains and modern occasional upholstery.

Use its cool silver-grey ground to bring a softly textured, contemporary note to upholstery or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
