Luster Charcoal

Diffusion FabricCCF0442-01

Luster Charcoal pairs a deep, cool charcoal ground with pale grey linear detailing that forms fluid, mirrored shapes across the cloth. The close-set lines create a gently dimensional surface, with the pattern shifting between soft curves and crisp chevrons.

About this fabric

The charcoal tone reads nearly black in the densest lines, while the lighter grey threads keep the overall effect textured rather than flat. At 286 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight woven fabric with enough visual presence for both upholstery and drapery applications. Its organic motif repeats every 24.5 cm vertically and 23.2 cm horizontally, creating a measured rhythm of nested, almond-like forms. The usable width is 139 cm, supplied in a standard 40 m length.

How to use it

Use Luster Charcoal to give a contemporary chair, headboard or cushion a cool graphic accent, then balance its high-contrast linework with plain soft-grey or charcoal textiles. As curtains or blinds, the pale threads will soften the depth of the charcoal without losing the pattern’s architectural movement.

A cool charcoal-and-pale-grey woven pattern that brings graphic movement to upholstery, cushions, curtains and blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Luster Charcoal without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
