Fendii Fabric

Fendii Hydro is a cool charcoal grey with a tightly textured, low-key surface that reads clean and contemporary in the swatch. The tone sits between slate and graphite, giving it a practical depth without looking black.

About this fabric

This plain fabric is woven in 100% polyester and specified for upholstery, with a 145 cm width and a hard-wearing 60,000+ Martindale rub test. In the image, the colour comes through as a muted blue-grey charcoal rather than a warm grey, and the fine weave gives it a crisp, even finish. The surface has a subtle dry texture that softens the darkness of the shade and keeps it from feeling flat. Because there is no pattern repeat, the focus stays on the steady tone and the tightly packed weave.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a sofa, banquette or headboard when you want a cooler dark neutral that still feels refined. It pairs especially well with pale timber, brushed steel and chalky neutrals, where the blue-grey cast can read clearly.

A grounded charcoal that works neatly with oak, black metal and soft off-white layers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
