About this fabric

This plain upholstery fabric is woven in 100% polyester and has a practical 145 cm width, making it straightforward to pattern-match-free cut and cover. The 60,000+ Martindale rub test confirms its suitability for busy seating, while the close weave gives the surface a tidy, understated finish. In Pewter, the colour sits between grey and brown with a gentle warmth that softens the look rather than making it look stark or cold. The result is a versatile neutral with enough depth to hold its own on larger pieces without feeling heavy.

How to use it

Use it on sofas, armchairs or banquettes where you want a tailored neutral that still feels inviting. Its warm taupe tone works especially well with walnut, oak, muted greens and chalky off-whites.
