Chicago Taupe

Chicago Fabric

Chicago Taupe pairs a softly structured geometric pattern with a muted, warm taupe ground. The lighter woven sections lift the design, giving it an easy, calm depth rather than a hard contrast.

About this fabric

Woven for upholstery, this Warwick fabric is made from 57% viscose, 23% polyester, 14% cotton and 6% linen, and measures 137 cm wide. The 9 x 9 cm repeat gives the angular pattern a neat, ordered rhythm, while the small woven texture keeps the surface looking tactile and grounded. In this colourway, the taupe sits between beige and mushroom, with a gentle warmth that softens the sharper geometric lines. Its 30,000 martindale rub test makes it a practical choice for everyday seating as well as decorative upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Chicago Taupe on a sofa, ottoman or dining chair where its muted warmth can read as a refined neutral. It works especially well with chalky whites, oak finishes and darker accent woods.

A warm taupe that adds quiet structure to upholstered pieces and layers easily with cream or stone.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
