About this fabric

This colourway has a gentle greige taupe look, with warm beige notes lifted by cooler grey undertones and a dry, linen-like surface. The plain weave is visible across the swatch, giving it a subtle texture rather than a flat finish. Made from 52% recycled polyester and 48% polyester, it is specified for curtaining and comes in a wide 300 cm width, which is ideal for broader drops and fewer joins. With no martindale rub test noted, it is presented here as a fabric for window dressing rather than heavy wear.

How to use it

Use Calais Wisp for full-height curtains, sheers layered with blinds, or relaxed Roman blinds where its pale taupe tone can soften light. It pairs well with natural wood, plaster pinks and muted green accents.

A quiet neutral that layers easily with oak, stone and chalky whites.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
