Pokot Linen

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0777-03

Pokot Linen has a pale greige-taupe ground with a fine, irregular pebble-like pattern woven across its surface. The softly mottled finish gives this colourway a quiet, tactile depth rather than a flat neutral appearance.

About this fabric

The light taupe ground is scattered with tiny rounded ivory and stone-coloured motifs, creating a subtle all-over texture visible across the swatch. At 488gsm, the fabric has a substantial woven presence suited to upholstery applications. It has a usable width of 137cm and a pattern repeat of 56cm vertically by 34.5cm horizontally. The restrained greige palette works as a gentle alternative to cream, with the small-scale pattern adding interest without dominating a piece of furniture.

How to use it

Use Pokot Linen on an occasional chair, headboard or sofa where its soft greige tone can sit alongside warm oak, pale stone and layered boucle textures. Its low-contrast pebble pattern is especially effective in calm, naturally toned rooms.

Pair this soft greige taupe with warm woods, chalky neutrals and tactile natural finishes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pokot Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
