Pokot Caribbean

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0777-01

Pokot Caribbean has a densely woven, pebble-like pattern in vivid turquoise and deep blue, set against a softly warm ivory ground. The close-set marks create a lively, textured surface with a distinctly saturated Caribbean tone.

About this fabric

Irregular rounded motifs cover the cloth in a tight all-over arrangement, with turquoise centres and dark blue edging that gives the pattern definition. The pale ground keeps the colourway bright, while the blue depth prevents it from feeling flat or overly tropical. At 488 gsm, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstery. It has a 137 cm usable width, a 56 cm vertical repeat and a 34.5 cm horizontal repeat, giving the small-scale design a consistent rhythm across larger cuts.

How to use it

Use Pokot Caribbean on a statement armchair, dining seat or compact sofa where its vivid teal can energise an otherwise ivory, navy or warm timber scheme. Balance the busy small-scale pattern with plain textured cushions in cream or deep blue.

The dense teal-and-navy pebble motif brings lively colour and tactile pattern to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Pokot Caribbean without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
