Nairobi Linen
Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0774-02
Nairobi Linen presents a very pale ivory ground brushed with quiet grey-beige clouds and feathered, painterly marks. Its low-contrast surface reads softly in the light, with no hard outline competing with the delicate tonal movement.

About this fabric
At 43 gsm, Nairobi Linen is a particularly lightweight fabric suited to drapery, where its pale ground can create an airy, gently filtered effect. The abstract repeat measures 292 cm vertically by 267 cm horizontally, giving the cloudy brushwork an expansive scale across a curtain or full-height panel. Subtle warm ivory is layered with cool mist-grey and faint taupe shading, while the softly irregular texture keeps the colourway relaxed rather than stark. The usable width is 292 cm, and the standard length is 40 m.
How to use it
Use Nairobi Linen for full-length curtains in rooms built around chalky ivory, pale stone and washed grey, allowing the broad cloudy repeat to add movement without introducing a strong contrast. It also suits calm, light-filled schemes where its warm-cool balance can soften crisp architectural lines.
Use this airy ivory-grey colourway for softly diffused curtains and calm, tonal interiors.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Nairobi Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
