Pokot Spice

Breegan Jane x Clarke and Clarke Fabric FabricCCF0777-05

Pokot Spice combines a pale oatmeal-beige ground with a dense field of tiny rust and terracotta curling marks. The warm colourway has a softly weathered, tactile appearance rather than a flat printed look.

About this fabric

The close-set abstract curls create a small-scale pattern, with the deep spice tone giving the light ground plenty of visual warmth and depth. At 488 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery. It has a 137 cm usable width and a 35 m standard length, with a 56 cm vertical repeat and 34.5 cm horizontal repeat for planning patterned cuts. The textured surface and compact motif make the design read as richly patterned from close range while remaining softly blended across a larger upholstered piece.

How to use it

Use Pokot Spice on an occasional chair, headboard or sofa where its rust terracotta accents can warm pale beige, cream and natural timber schemes. Its dense small-scale pattern also works well alongside plain textured upholstery in sand or tobacco tones.

A substantial warm-toned upholstery textile, pairing dense rust curls with a pale beige ground for softly patterned seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
