About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this Katrine FR fabric measures 140cm wide with a 0cm pattern repeat, making the surface easy to plan and cut across larger schemes. In Rust, the yarns blend into a warm terracotta-brown ground with softer red undertones and tiny flecks that catch the light. The texture looks dry and lightly heathered rather than glossy, so the colour feels grounded and practical rather than bright. With no pattern repeat to match, it suits clean-lined upholstery or relaxed curtains where the woven character can do the talking. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

This rust colourway works well with oak, tobacco leather and textured creams, especially where you want warmth without a heavy red note. It also brings depth to taupe or olive schemes, adding a subtle earthy anchor.

Use with walnut, tan leather, or chalky neutrals for a grounded, contemporary look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
