Porter & Stone

La Paz Rust

Misc Fabric

La Paz Rust shows a rhythmic woven motif in warm terracotta and muted clay, set over a natural linen-look ground. The pattern reads bold but softly weathered, with the rust tones sitting comfortably against the lighter base.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is 140cm wide and composed of 64% Poly, 25% Viscose and 11% Linen, giving the design a practical mixed-fibre handle with a softly textured face. The 38cm pattern repeat creates a clear vertical rhythm, with repeated rounded medallions linked by slim columns. In Rust, the motif feels earthy rather than bright, blending cinnamon, brick and aged copper notes into a grounded overall effect. The visible weave and colour variation give it a slightly worn, textile-rich character that suits a scheme needing warmth without glare.

How to use it

Use this rust colourway on an upholstered accent chair, banquette or cushions where the repeating motif can become a feature. It also works well against oat, tobacco and dark timber finishes, which let the warm terracotta tone stand out.

Pair this warm rust tone with walnut wood and quiet neutrals for a tailored, grounded interior.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
