Kalahari Heather

Misc Fabric

Kalahari Heather is a softly striped fabric with a weathered, earthy mix of pale beige, taupe and heathered lilac tones. The narrow vertical lines give it a calm, tailored look without feeling crisp or high-contrast.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 60% Poly, 30% Cotton and 10% Linen, Kalahari Heather has the grounded feel of a natural-look cloth with a smoother practical finish. The 137cm width and 0cm pattern repeat make it straightforward to pattern-match across larger runs, while the fine vertical stripe keeps the surface visually quiet. In this colourway, the neutral base is warmed by sandy beige and softened by muted mauve-grey accents, so the overall effect stays understated rather than bright. The texture reads slightly slubbed and relaxed, which suits a scheme that wants depth without heaviness.

How to use it

Use it on small upholstery pieces, banquettes or relaxed curtains where the narrow stripe can add structure without dominating the room. It sits especially well with pale oak, chalky paint and other soft neutrals, picking up the warmer beige notes in the weave.

A soft neutral stripe that layers easily with timber, linen and textured upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kalahari Heather without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
