About this fabric
This plain Harlequin textile has a substantial 394 gsm weight and a fine construction of 17 threads per cm. The 143 cm usable width makes the cloth practical for upholstery applications. There is no visible motif, and the supplied specification records 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats. Its deep rust tone sits between terracotta and brown, giving the surface a warm, earthy depth rather than a bright orange appearance.
How to use it
Use Mineral Rust on a tailored chair, sofa or footstool to bring a warm terracotta accent into a room with natural timber, cream, stone or softened olive tones. The fine even weave keeps the colour composed while allowing the rust shade to remain the focus.
A substantial plain weave in warm rust terracotta, suited to tailored upholstery where its fine texture can add quiet depth.

Pairs well with
Mineral Rust is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
