About this fabric

The slate-grey tone reads muted and architectural, with a cool cast rather than a warm charcoal appearance. Fine horizontal and vertical yarn lines create the softly irregular crosshatch texture visible across the swatch. Weighing 394gsm with 17 threads per centimetre, this substantial textile is well suited to upholstery applications. The 143cm usable width and 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the cloth straightforward to position across plain upholstered surfaces.

How to use it

Use Mineral Slate on a tailored sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its cool grey depth can balance warm timber, ivory boucle or brushed metal. The barely patterned surface also works well in layered schemes with stronger graphic textiles.
