Mineral Scarlet

Mineral FabricHAF0577-71

Mineral Scarlet has a deep, muted red tone with the earthy depth of powdered pigment rather than a bright primary scarlet. Its close woven surface is visibly crosshatched, giving the plain colour a quiet textile character.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a mineral-rich scarlet red, softened by fine darker and lighter threads that create subtle tonal variation across the surface. A tightly woven warp-and-weft texture is visible in close view, with no printed motif or repeat. At 394 gsm and 143 cm usable width, this is a substantial fabric well suited to upholstered applications. The supplied specification lists both vertical and horizontal pattern repeats as 0 cm, allowing the woven surface to run continuously without pattern matching.

How to use it

Use Mineral Scarlet on a reading chair, sofa or dining seat where its deep warm red can act as the room’s focal colour. Pair it with aged wood, chalky neutrals or dark bronze accents to bring out the fabric’s earthy mineral depth.

Use this deep mineral scarlet on upholstered seating to bring concentrated colour and tactile woven depth to a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
