About this fabric

The woven design combines a rich cherry-red base with pale blush-beige lines that form irregular, honeycomb-like cells across the surface. Its 310 gsm weight and finely detailed appearance give the cloth a substantial yet versatile presence for upholstery or drapery. The pattern repeats every 24 cm vertically and 22.9 cm horizontally, keeping the organic geometry consistently visible across a larger cut. A usable width of 137 cm and a catalogue count of 326 threads per cm provide useful practical detail when planning a project.

How to use it

Use Glyptic Cherry to bring concentrated colour to a statement chair, bench or full-length curtain, then temper the vivid red with oatmeal, chalk or softly aged brass. Its pale lattice can also pick up light neutral upholstery or painted joinery without losing the design’s graphic character.

Pair the saturated cherry ground with warm neutrals, pale timber or brass accents to balance its graphic energy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
