About this fabric

The warm buff colour has a gentle peach cast rather than reading as a cool beige, giving the swatch a softly sunlit appearance. Narrow white lines form a compact honeycomb-like network, with subtly uneven cell shapes that keep the geometry from feeling rigid. At 310gsm and 326 threads per centimetre, the cloth has a substantial, closely made feel suited to both upholstery and drapery. It has a 137cm usable width, with a 24cm vertical repeat and 22.9cm horizontal repeat for considered pattern matching.

How to use it

Use Glyptic Buff to soften tailored seating, roman blinds or full-length curtains with a warm neutral base; its peachy undertone works especially well with ivory, oak and muted terracotta. The fine white lattice can also add quiet structure to cushions without overwhelming a layered room.

A warm buff ground and fine white lattice bring gentle graphic structure to upholstery, curtains and cushions.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Glyptic Buff without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
