About this fabric

The cloth has a quiet, natural depth: creamy oat and light beige threads combine to create a subtly weathered appearance, while the vertical weave catches the light in narrow lines. At 394 gsm and 17 threads per cm, it has the dense, substantial presence expected of an upholstery-weight textile. Its 143 cm usable width is paired with 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats, so the texture reads continuously across the cloth. The restrained colour and low-contrast surface keep the finish calm rather than decorative.

How to use it

Use Mineral Oat on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm pale beige tone can soften darker wood and add texture without introducing a strong pattern. Pair it with chalky whites, natural oak and muted stone shades for a light, quietly layered scheme.

A softly textured oat-beige weave for relaxed upholstery and quietly tonal seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
