About this fabric

The dense woven face has a restrained blue-grey tone, with closely spaced vertical threads creating a lightly brushed, tactile appearance. At 394gsm and 17 threads per centimetre, it has the substantial handle associated with upholstery fabric. The 143cm usable width is paired with a 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, so the surface can be positioned without matching a motif. Subtle tonal variation in the dark ground keeps the colour dimensional while preserving its smart, understated character.

How to use it

Use Mineral Midnight on a deep buttoned chair, sofa or bench where its cool slate-blue tone can anchor softer grey, chalk and natural timber finishes. Its quiet vertical texture also works well with brushed metal and low-contrast geometric accents.

Use the deep slate-blue tone to give upholstered seating a quiet, tailored depth against pale walls or warm timber.
