Lomondra blue

Hibbertiameadows Fabriclomondr/fa1/nav

A deep slate-blue ground sets off the painterly blooms in this Lomondra colourway, giving the design a moody, contemporary feel. The floral print reads soft and atmospheric rather than crisp, with the darker background making the blush, lilac and mint tones stand out.

About this fabric

Lomondra blue from Voyage Maison’s Hibbertiameadows collection is a fabric with a 93% cotton, 5% linen composition and a 230gsm weight, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings. The visible surface has a lightly textured cloth look, so the floral artwork sits with a relaxed, fabric-led finish rather than a glossy one. Against the dark blue ground, the large-scale blossoms appear washed in lilac, blush pink, soft green and warm coral, creating a gentle contrast that still feels rich. The generous 68cm horizontal repeat and 49.8cm vertical repeat suit statement window treatments with plenty of pattern movement. Dry clean only and cool iron.

How to use it

This blue colourway works well in rooms that need depth without heaviness, especially when paired with pale timber, chalky neutrals or aged brass. Use it for curtains or Roman blinds to bring the soft pink and green florals into focus against the slate ground.

Use for elegant curtains or blinds where the moody blue ground can soften the bright painterly flowers.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
