About this fabric

Woven in 90% cotton and 10% linen, this fabric has a crisp natural handle that suits the structure visible in the check design. The 140cm width and 10cm horizontal and vertical pattern repeat make the layout easy to plan for curtains, blinds and upholstery alike, while the 25,000 Martindale indicates practical durability for everyday use. In Tamar Blue, the alternating blocks of diluted blue and chalkier pale tones create a cool, washed effect rather than a strong graphic contrast. The texture catches the light gently, giving the surface a soft, woven depth without losing its clean look. It is dry clean only and can be cool ironed, with no fire-retardant treatment noted.

How to use it

Use Tamar Blue where you want a fresh, light blue check that keeps a room feeling open. It works especially well with white woodwork, pale oak and soft grey upholstery for a relaxed coastal or country scheme.

A soft blue check that feels airy and fresh on curtains, blinds or light upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
