Ophelia Grey shows a light, airy linen ground scattered with slender branching stems and tiny leaf motifs. The overall effect is soft and understated, with the grey linework keeping the design fresh rather than fussy.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% linen, this fabric has the relaxed, slightly textural look that suits curtain-making and softens the botanical repeat beautifully. The ground reads as a pale, cool grey-white, while the stems are drawn in a muted graphite tone and the leaves are washed with a very light yellow-green tint. With a 23cm horizontal repeat and 25cm vertical repeat, the pattern sits comfortably at a medium scale and keeps its rhythm without feeling busy. It is dry clean only and should not be ironed, so the natural linen texture remains part of its character.

How to use it

Use Ophelia Grey to bring a light, country-house feel to full-length curtains, especially where you want pattern without strong contrast. It works well with pale timber, putty walls and soft green accents.

Pair with warm oak and chalky neutrals for a calm, airy scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
