Lomondra grey

Hibbertiameadows Fabriclomondr/fa1/dov

Lomondra Grey brings a misty, watercolour softness to the Hibbertiameadows collection. On its pale grey ground, the oversized botanical forms feel airy and lightly painterly rather than bold.

About this fabric

This fabric is a 230gsm textile with a composition of 87% cotton and 5% linen, finished with a cool iron and dry-clean-only care. The surface shows a softly textured base with a gentle, woven look that suits its washed-out floral and leaf motif. In this colourway, the grey background keeps the scattered blooms, foliage and seedheads looking cool and subdued, with just enough muted colour to lift the design without overwhelming it. The 68cm horizontal repeat and 49.8cm vertical repeat support the flowing, expansive feel of the pattern across curtains and blinds. It is suitable for curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, and is not fire retardant.

How to use it

Use Lomondra Grey where you want pattern without visual heaviness: it will soften a bedroom, sitting room or garden room while keeping the palette cool and restful. It pairs especially well with chalk whites, weathered wood and pale sage accents.

The pale grey ground keeps the painterly florals feeling airy and calm, ideal for a light-filled room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
