Hibbertia pink

Hibbertiameadows Fabrichibbert/fa1/fuc

Hibbertia Pink brings a loose watercolor meadow of oversized blossoms to a warm ivory ground. The blush petals, lilac washes and cool blue accents give the design a softly romantic feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 95% cotton and 5% linen, this fabric has a natural handle that suits curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, with a usable width of 136cm and a weight of 230gsm. The large-scale floral repeat measures 68cm across and 67.8cm vertically, so the sweeping stems and clustered blooms have room to unfold across a full drop. In this Hibbertia Pink colourway, the palette is airy rather than sugary: chalky blush, mauve, plum and powder blue sit on a pale ground with a hand-painted softness. Dry clean only care and a cool iron finish make it a practical decorative textile for rooms that want colour without heaviness.

How to use it

Pair this blush-toned print with pale oak, putty linen and soft plaster pink walls for a fresh, light-filled scheme. It works especially well where the blue notes can be echoed in cushions, ceramics or a painted trim.

Use for airy curtains or light upholstery where the painterly pink blooms can take centre stage.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hibbertia pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
