Poplar Blush brings a gentle, powdery warmth to the Essential Weaves Vol 2 collection. Its softly mottled surface reads as a pale blush pink with a lightly weathered, textural finish.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and suitable for drapes only, this fabric has a substantial feel at 357 grams per linear metre, with a width of 140cm and a 24cm by 24cm repeat. The surface shows a delicate botanical texture rather than a crisp floral print, with pale blush ground colour broken up by chalky ivory flecks. The overall effect is muted and airy, giving the fabric a soft-focus depth that catches light gently rather than reflecting it sharply. Made in India, it is a decorative window fabric with a relaxed, contemporary mood.

How to use it

Use Poplar Blush for curtains in bedrooms, dressing rooms or sitting rooms where a warm, calming pink is wanted without brightness. It sits neatly with parchment, pale oak and brushed brass, and its dusty tone keeps the scheme understated.

The muted blush tone softens rooms and pairs beautifully with warm neutrals and pale woods.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
