Poplar Indigo is a richly toned botanical weave in a deep indigo blue, with pale patterning that lifts across the surface. The small-scale foliage effect gives the fabric a textured, shadowed look.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and designed for drapes only, Poplar Indigo has a substantial handle at 255gsm and a width of 140cm. The design shows a dense floral-botanical effect in layered indigo and softened pale blue-grey, creating a cool, moody contrast rather than a bright colour pop. Its 24cm vertical and horizontal repeat supports a regular all-over rhythm, while the textured weave gives the surface a softly weathered appearance. Made in India, it is a practical choice where you want pattern depth without a glossy finish.

How to use it

This indigo colourway works well in rooms with pale walls or warm woods, where the cooler ground adds definition. It is especially effective for full-length curtains that can carry the pattern’s deep, leafy texture across the window.

Use it for tailored curtains or Roman blinds where the indigo ground can bring depth and contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
